Join Insider Louisville, Red e App and the Louisville Digital Association for the May meetup: Does Louisville have what it takes to support start-ups?
On May 18 from 4:30 p.m-8:30 p.m. we will meetup to discuss if Louisville has what it takes to support and sustain technology startups. Many diverse groups have discussed the topic, but few holistically. Can entrepreneurs in tech find angel funding, venture capital, engineering talent and other necessary resources to launch? Can these companies grow and thrive in Louisville without having to bow to outside investors and be swept away? Some say yes to all of the above, others no, still others aren't sure. So, why not assemble a top-notch panel of those who have tried, failed and succeeded, as well as intelligent watchers of the community to broaden the discussion?
So far, our panel includes:
Hunter Hammonds - CEO & Co-Founder @ Impulcity
Jonathan Erwin - CEO/Founder Red e App
Wright Steenrod - Partner at Chrysalis Ventures
Katie Bush - Founder & Creative Director, KBD
And more to come.
This meetup will be held at Red e App located at 216 S. Shelby St. We will have a cash bar and light refreshments.
