Campers will learn to build and program Lego robots and machines using gears, pulleys, motors and computers. Students will be introduced to a simple engineering process based on these five steps: Imagine, Plan, Create, Improve, and Ask. Students not only learn science principles, but they will create robots that move objects, respond to light or motion, and even challenge other robots. Working in pairs, students will start with simple structures and then begin to make a robot through intermediate levels of construction, proper use of blocks, motors and mainboard. Student’s imaginations will soar as they discover the endless possibilities. ROBOTICS CAMP MEETS 3 DAYS A WEEK 1PM - 4PM.
