Louisville’s Hard Rock Café will be the first to have the Kentucky Derby Festival’s 43rd edition of Pegasus Pins. The pins will be unveiled THIS TUESDAY at 10:00 a.m. as they are delivered to the restaurant at Fourth Street Live. Hard Rock Café will have the first Pegasus Pins for sale that day.

Started as an awareness campaign for the not-for-profit civic celebration in 1973, the plastic pins are now one of four primary sources of funding the Derby Festival events.  It has become a way for the community to have ownership in the Festival and show their pride in the region’s largest celebration.
