On April 16, 2015, Good Garbage is hosting its first ever Creative Reuse Art Form Throwdown, a lively craft-off, crowning Louisville's CRAFT Champion. The Throwdown will feature teams vying for this coveted title over the course of the evening. Event goers will also enjoy a silent auction, raffles, creative hors d'oeuvres, and a cash bar all presented within the fun, urban atmosphere of the Old 502 Winery in downtown Louisville. Proceeds from C.R.A.F.T. will go towards a "new-to-us" cargo van to assist with donations, workshops, and outreach.
We are excited to announce Marianne Zickuhr from Preservation Louisville and Fleur de Arts with Marianne Zickuhr will be our Emcee.
Our judges are Trevor DeCuir co-owner of McQuixote Books & Coffee, Ehren Reed, a fiber artist and Outreach Coordinator at Louisville Visual Art Association and Louisville's face of Yelp Louisville, Emily Hagedorn. No bribing prior to the event, but welcome during the event!
