A rich Louisville tradition returns for weekend run Friday and Saturday, October 23-24 at UofL /Belknap campus and Blackacre. The two day family event includes stories and activities sure to please all ages. A line-up of traditional storytellers, both national and local, will share silly tall tales and spine-chilling stories against the backdrop of a 1795 Historic log barn. Members of the Dakota Nation share stories, drum music, and dancing as part of a Native American demonstration that includes storytelling with tours of large tee-pee.

Bob Sander, co-founder of the Storytelling Arts of Indiana
Roberta Simpson Brown, a paranormal investigator and author of more than a dozen books and tapes of ghost stories
Matthew Black Eagle Man, a Dakota from Long Plain First Nation in Manitoba, Canada, a spiritual leader, motivational speaker, Peace Warrior and storyteller.
Lynny Prince, a storyteller and writer
Jerry McClure, storyteller and flautist
Nefertiti Burton, is a storyteller and chair of the Theater Arts program at UofL
Troubadours of Divine Bliss, a duo combining folk-based melodies, jazz vocal rifts with touches of blues and zydeco.
John Gage, musician and host of “Kentucky Homefront”
Admissions for Saturday is $12/full day adult, $5/full day child, $7/evening adult, and
