It's November! The slippery slope into all things holiday has begun! With yummy goodies being a big part of this time of year, Sara McNally, trained CPR certification leader and Cottage Community mother, is offering something a little different and more focused for this month.

Whether our babies have been eating for a while or we are just starting to dip our toes in the big people food pond, choking is always something we worry about. And rightfully so! Having these little guys and girls eating more solid food can be scary! Let's get together and learn about what to do if our little person or another beloved family member becomes a choking victim.

Join her Saturday, November 14th from 11am-12pm upstairs at the Cottage for an informative session on infant, child and adult choking. We will have mannequins to practice on as well as a semi real-life choking vest that provides a better understanding, and FUN!, way to learn the heimlich maneuver.
