Carmichael's is excited to host internationally-renowned and Newbery Award-winning author, Katherine Applegate, at the Louisville Free Public Library for a very special book signing and presentation. Katherine's latest novel for young readers, Crenshaw, is gaining traction for tackling the topic of homelessness and poverty in creative and powerful way. With this in mind, Carmichael's will be accepting donations at the event that will benefit the Dare to Care food bank.
