For anyone who dreams of being a rock star, West Sixth Brewing and the Forecastle Foundation are about to offer up that chance at their Care-oke Christmas, which will give would-be rock stars the chance to take the stage, choose a song and be backed by a live band, for this first ever event. Participants can choose from over 100 songs, including everything from “Sweet Caroline” to “Ziggy Stardust” and more, then take to the Mercury Ballroom stage and perform backed by The Karaoke Machine, a live band from Southern Indiana.
A VIP experience is offered for $20 and includes access to a special VIP lounge, an array of snacks, and special VIP only offerings, including a West Sixth Firkin, made with Guayaki Yerba Mate, and snacks from Kenny’s Cheese.
All proceeds from the event will benefit The Forecastle Foundation.
DJ Matt Anthony will be spinning vinyl from 8 – 10 p.m. and karaoke backed by a live band, The Karaoke Machine, will begin at 10 p.m.
The event will also feature a prize wheel with prizes ranging from Forecastle Foundation, West Sixth Brewing and Mercury Ballroom. Guests can also take photos with Santa on the red carpet
