The Original Butchertown Oktoberfest is one of Louisville, Kentucky's oldest and most beloved traditions. Butchertown is a historic neighborhood in Louisville, well-known for being the center of German and German-American culture. Each year, the festival hosts a variety of events and activities in celebration of Oktoberfest such as an art fair, performances from folk bands, a German Mass and a party complete with authentic German cuisine and beer.
