New York pianist Andy LaVerne, one of the few former students of the great Bill Evans, will perform a special concert of Evans’ work. Dick Sisto, and the two have promised to intersperse some conversation about the depth and influence of Evans’ work on the evolution of jazz as well as in their own lives.
