Southern Indiana’s annual celebration of the arts, the Monarch Festival, will take place on Saturday and Sunday, July 15 & 16 at a new location – Hidden Hill Nursery & Sculpture Garden, 1011 Utica Charlestown Rd., Jeffersonville, IN. The two-day event is open to children and adults of all ages and will feature a Monarch Butterfly release at 4:00 p.m. each day. Hours for the festival are Saturday, July 15, 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, July 16, 1:00 - 5:00pm.
Admission is $10 per car each day with all proceeds benefiting the Arts Council of Southern Indiana.
Hidden Hill Nursery will be open during the Monarch Festival and guests can tour the beautiful gardens and enjoy the 20 outdoor sculptures by local artists from Kentucky and Indiana. The festival will also include many booths and educational activities. Local food and beverage providers will be on hand as well as live music and dance performances from area artists.
