Do you miss sitting around with a bunch of art buddies chatting about art? Are you out of college and miss those art critiques/discussions? If so, join us for arTalks! The format for arTalks is simple. An opening speaker will speak for 20-30 minutes talking about their work, why they made specific artistic choices, their background etc. (just to get the conversation going) and then the floor will be opened up for critique and discussion. The idea for these talks stemmed from the many conversations I've had with artists and enthusiasts who want to continue to discuss artistic ideas, aesthetics and to further the art dialogue. The atmosphere will be super relaxed and casual and visual artists from all disciplines are encouraged to attend. This month we welcome Jen Goodell as our guest artist.
