Green Gables is the home of aging Matthew Cuthbert and his stern sister, Marilla. They send to the orphanage in Nova Scotia for a boy to help them on the farm, but they get more than they bargain for when11-year-old Anne Shirley arrives. Anne touches Matthew's heart with her vivid imagination and her charitable viewpoint, but it takes time to reach the tender heart beneath Marilla's hard exterior. This adaptation of the classic novel by L. M. Montgomery is an all-ages crowd-pleaser.
Anne of Green Gables is directed by Loren Crawford. Assistant director is Megan Adair and technical director is Gerry Kean.
