The Americans
The Americans perform original rock & roll with deep roots in traditional American music. They have performed on the Late Show with David Letterman, twice joined Grammy and Oscar winner Ryan Bingham on national tours, and played the first dance at Reese Witherspoon's wedding. They have backed up Nick Cave, Tim Robbins, and Lucinda Williams.
The Quiet Hollers
Quiet Hollers are an Alt. Country quartet from Louisville, Kentucky. They formed in May 2010, with the idea of performing just one show -- the CD release party for Shadwick Wilde's solo debut "Unforgivable Things." Until that point, Wilde had been performing solo on a regional level, whilst recording his debut album. Shadwick recruited Adam Buntain on bass -- his long-time bandmate of several Punk Rock endeavors, and Nick Goldring on Drums at his behest. Aaron West, a fancypants college graduate and music teacher, joined shortly thereafter, on Violin. Since their inception, the Quiet Hollers have enjoyed several bank account-emptying tours, consistent independent radio airplay, and slots opening for bands like Trampled By Turtles, Those Darlins, Split Lip Rayfield, Tim Barry (Avail), and Michael Graves (Misfits). Most recently, they completed principal recording of their first album as a cohesive group, "I Am The Morning." With Wax Fang drummer and recording guru, Kevin Ratterman at the engineer's helm, "I Am The Morning" promises to be a crowd pleaser, with anticipation already building for its release.
