Revelry Boutique Gallery is proud to present an exhibit of Adam Horton with his solo show titled Elements of Human Nature.

Louisville artist and craftsman Adam Horton has prepared an artistic presentation that will express himself and humankind figuratively through abstract representation. With society and nature being great influences, Elements of Human Nature is a collection of paintings derived from inescapable human experiences. Horton believes we are faced everyday with many challenges and desires that structure our ever-evolving lives.

He approaches this body of work on an intense, scientific level. He cites when natural and synthetic chemical combinations are introduced, human nature takes shape into emotional and physical processes that characterize an individual’s life. Simply put; who we are and what we feel is a product of body chemistry that we often do not completely control. The harsh reality of this personal evolution is demonstrated through his choice of strong colors, stark contrast, and tangible texture, which will surely connect with viewers as they begin to look inwardly.
