Swanson Contemporary is one of the oldest continually operating galleries in Louisville, specializing in challenging, energetic artworks. The gallery pioneered video and installation art in the area and has showcased painting, photography and sculpture from national and regional artists.
Specters was created to celebrate and showcase the vibrant work of numerous young, regional artists who are affiliated with Swanson Contemporary. The exhibition will also include a collaboration of three of Louisville’s most exciting and prominent young artists – Andrew Cozzens, Shohei Katayama and Ezra Kellerman – in the Actors Theatre Gallery main gallery space, located in the Sara Shallenberger Brown Lobby.
