On Saturday, March 14, The National MS Society, KY-Southeast Chapter is excited to host our 5th Annual MS Walk Kick-Off and Donut Building Challenge. Competitors wait for this all year long! The event will kick off at the popular PLAY Lounge and Event space at 9:00AM. Teams compete by sculpting monuments, buildings, and many other objects out of yummy Krispy Kreme donuts! TV personalities, members of the media, dignitaries, and MS friends & members will judge entries. A free pancake breakfast and coffee will be provided.
This is a unique opportunity to learn more about the disease, meet new friends and sign-up for WALK MS! Stacy Funk, MS Society Local Chapter President loves this event, "It's impossible not to bond while building a sculpture made out of Krispy Kreme donuts! Skeptics, who attend, always leave as our biggest promoters of this event because there is nothing else like it in town."
This event is free and open to the public. We encourage and invite people to learn more about MS and how to help the organization.
