Be the first to try Copper & Kings’ latest limited release spirit when they launch 3 Marlenas tequila barrel-aged apple brandy Sept. 9 from 7 p.m. to midnight. The courtyard fiesta includes a mini tour of the distillery and two tastings for $10 per person. Label artist Damon Thompson will be on hand to sign bottles of 3 Marlenas while salsa band Milenio entertains the crowd. Latin-inspired brandy cocktails and empanadas and elotes from Butchertown Pie Co. will also be available.

Only 1000 bottles of 3 Marlenas were produced and will be on sale for the first time at this event. The artisanal apple brandy was matured two years in tequila barrels making an unusual and adventurous spirit with the nuance, character and personality of tequila. Copper & Kings commissioned Louisville oil painter Damon Thompson for the original fine art used on the label.
