The Louisville Muse Cruise is the only derby week red carpet event just for the entertainment industry - aboard the historical Belle of Louisville, May 1 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Film, TV, Music Industries along with some government and local business and government guests and others who want to network with them set sail on the Belle of Louisville for a river cruise to enjoy being greeted by beauty pageant title holders, red carpet photos, podcast interviews, live entertainment, dinner, drinks and networking while taking in the great weather and scenery. Part of the proceeds this year will support Musician's Emergency Resource Foundation and Louisville Film Society. Last year's inaugural event had 225 attendees from KY, TN, IN, CA, NY, and TX on board.

Don't miss the free to attend after party at Diamond Pub and Billiards  in the Highlands from 9:30 until 1 a.m. where there is an open stage that ticket holders can sign up for in advance, or for remaining slots at the event plus tastings from Ballotin Whiskey.

On the Belle: Last year 225 professionals from KY, IN, TX, CA, OH, TN and NY gathered together to see and be seen, enjoy live music, network and enjoy the beautiful weather during the 3 hour cruise. This year's cruise will feature

• performances from Jacqui Blue, Nick Dittmeier and the Sawdusters, and The Vintage Martins with appearance from Ron Block of Alison Krauss and Union Station

• Amerifest beauty pageant title holders will also be at the red carpet and on board to help things run smoothly.
