Varanese Restaurant, located at 2106 Frankfort Avenue, will host its popular annual “Tradition vs. Innovation Wine Dinner” on two nights this year – Wednesday, February 24 and Thursday, February 25 - with a reception at 6:30pm and dinner at 7:00pm each night. Both evenings will include guest speakers John Johnson, Sommelier and Owner of The Wine Rack and Aaron Dawkins of Republic National Distributors, and a six round battle between traditional and innovative wines from Italy, France, New Zealand, Argentina and the U.S. Each of the six courses will be paired with a wine representing the old world style of winemaking and a wine showcasing the latest trends.
