Showcasing a wide variety of story and style, this program of eight short films was selected from this year’s Sundance Film Festival- the launchpad for now-prominent independent filmmakers. Consisting of fiction, documentary, and animation from the around the world, this edition features vibrant styles from wild comedy to reflective poetry.
Each year the festival receives more than 8,000 short film submission, selecting sixty to eighty to screen during the January festival with eight films curated for the tour traveling to more than fifty cities nationwide. This is one of the very few theatrical release of short films in America. Recommended for 13+ due to thematic elements. 2016, U.S./U.K./Canda, DCP, 95 minutes.
