Mansfield Institute for Public Policy and Social Change Incorporated 1st Annual Millennial Empowerment Summit. This dynamic coming together of young people ages 17-35 will also feature "DJs Spin for Change”, a best DJ in Louisville competition where area disc Jockeys will compete for cash prizes and recognition as the “Best DJ in the Ville”. The opening will consist of music, spoken word poetry, skits and motivational speakers. This opening event is designed to be a coming together that will wake-up and empower the audience. After the opening, attendees who have registered, will then engage in a host of small group symposiums. All of which will take place in the world famous Derby and Oak rooms of Churchill Down's Jockey Club. All events are designed to be a forum and space that captures the attention and focus of 17-35 year olds so that they can see how to utilize their potential. There will be eight moderated symposiums that will be "Live" and "Online". The “Online” audience will be engaged through social media outlets that include Facebook Live, YouTube Live and Google Hangout. The symposium line up will include the following trending hot button topics:

"Communities, Crime and Crisis"
