Louisville will be under attack tomorrow evening, August 29th, 2014, at 8:29 p.m. due to the commencement of the tenth annual Louisville Zombie Attack! This event will take place at Bardstown Road and Eastern Parkway for "experienced and die-hard attackers," and there will also be a secondary location at Mid City Mall for large groups and families. A pre-party will take place at The Back Door, and there will be movies, drinks, and makeup artist Steve-O The Phoenix who will offer expert tips on special effects and prosthetics. Mid City Mall is also sponsoring family friendly activities and booths in the parking lot.
The end point of the Louisville Zombie Walk will be at the Highland Taproom. There will be two outdoor stages and another indoors. The performance lineup includes the following:
Main Outdoor Stage: Dead Halos, Vice Tricks, and Nülydedz
Indoor Stage: DJ Steve Vessell, Dead Dick Hammer, Trophy Wives, and We Are Hex
The small outdoor stage will include live art, performances, and costume contests. The contests include Gross Zombie, Hot Zombie, King and Queen Zombie, and The Golden Machete, which is the most unique costume at the walk! Louisvillians, get creative, put on your best zombie costume, grab the fake blood, and let's take over Louisville!
