YPAL Presents Diversity In The Obama Age
The Young Professionals Association of Louisville (YPAL) will host a discussion panel discussing diversity issues following the historic election of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States. The panel will be moderated by Julie Tam of Fox 41 News and consist of local political, business and educational leaders including:
•	Lt Governor Dan Mongiardo
•	Dr Ricky Jones, Professor of Pan-African Studies at the University of Louisville and author of “What’s Wrong with Obamamania?”
•	Rico Nieto, Vice President, Multicultural Communications at Creative Alliance
•	Bonita Black, a member of Frost Brown Todd and Co-Chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee
The event will be on February 10, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at The Henry Clay located at 604 S Third Street. Heavy appetizers and an Obamatini (a new creation from Finlandia), will be offered during registration, which begins at 5:30pm. The cost of this event is $5 for YPAL members and $10 for non-members and seating is limited, so attendees must visit www.ypal.org to register as soon as possible.
