    Little Moments.  Big Magic.

Next Monday, March 17th is the 2008 Young Professional "Go Green" Bowl for Kids' Sake at Lucky Strike at 427 S 4th Street at 6 PM.  Big Brothers & Big Sisters is gearing up to start the 2008 Bowl for Kids' Sake season. Join them for an evening of fun at Lucky Strike as they raise money to put a little magic in the lives of children in our area.

All proceeds raised, including donations and entry fees, benefits children in our local communities.  They are asking any Young Professional between the ages of 25-40 years old to participate in the celebration.   Big Brothers & Sisters are also encouraging participants to wear something green in honor of the event being held on St. Patrick’s Day.

The event is FREE to participants who bring a pledge sheet with at least $80 in pledges. Also, you will receive a BFKS T-shirt, 1 game of bowling, shoe rental, appetizers and a chance to win door prizes. A cash bar will be also available. There are at least 4-5 people needed to make up a team, so ask your friends and co-workers to come out, have a good time and help out children in the community!

Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) is the largest provider of one-to-one youth mentoring services in the United States. They have been bringing caring adults into the lives of our nation’s children for over 100 years. These quality relationships are built on friendship and trust, and are proven to be a significant positive influence in the life of a child, and the volunteer.  Big Brothers and Big Sisters (Bigs) are friends, mentors, and positive role models to the children (Littles) with whom they are matched.
