On Saturday, August 7, 2010 from 9-2 a very special yard sale is being held to support the Governor's School for the Arts. Every year, 225 juniors and seniors in Kentucky High schools are selected to take part in a 3 week intense arts institute at Transylvania University in Lexington at no cost to the student These students are emerged in their particular area of study by some of our state's finest artists-in-residence. There are 9 areas of artistic study such as vocal and instrumental music, musical theatre, dance, architecture, visual arts, new media, drama, and writing.

We would be thrilled if you could show your support by coming by our Yard Sale on August 7th and do a little shopping or maybe drop off a contribution for this very worthy cause.
