The Louisville Zoo is hosting “The World’s Largest Halloween Party!” presented by Meijer on October 8-10, 14-17, 21-24 and 28-30. Not-so-scary family-friendly fun, trick-or-treating (for kids 11 and under), roaming costumed characters, a pirate’s cove, a giant taking pumpkin, super heros, an ogre’s swamp, a headless horseman, animatronic Dinosaurs! at Night and so much more. Tickets are $8 per person and event entry begins at 5 p.m. (to 8:30 p.m.). Advance discount tickets are available at area Meijer stores beginning Sept. 27 for $1.50 off full-price tickets.
