This workshop will focus on the basics of design, carving and finishing of a wood relief. Students will work with basswood, and are asked to come to class prepared with 3 finished line drawings or photographs, one of which will be used as the design for their relief. Mike Ratterman, who is a professional sculptor living in Louisville, will lead this workshop.
