Levy’s latest book, “In the Plex: How Google Thinks, Works and Shapes Our Lives,” tells the story of Google and how it became the dominant Internet search engine and advertising juggernaut.
Levy is a senior writer at Wired, and formerly was senior editor and chief technology correspondent at Newsweek.
He is the author of seven books, including “Hackers: Heroes of the Computer Revolution,” which was voted the best sci-tech nonfiction book of the last twenty years by readers of PC Magazine.
Levy is scheduled to speak at 7 p.m. The main library is at Fourth and York streets downtown.
