Kentucky Waterways Alliance is hosting the national event - Patagonia's Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Festival. The emcee for the night is Dave Shuffett, Emmy nominee and host of KET's Kentucky Life. The night begins with an Opening Reception where we'll be serving food and drink compliments of Ramsi's Cafe on the World, Sierra Nevada Brewing Company and a wine tasting courtesy of Liquor Barn. Admission to the reception is $30 and includes a KWA membership for one year, one film ticket and two drink tickets. Film Festival begins at 8 pm. Our feature is Mountain Top Removal. Filmmaker Michael O'Connell will be on hand for a Q & A session along with Tom Fitzgerald, director of Kentucky Resources Council, Jerry Hardt, communications director Kentuckians For The Commonwealth, and Judy Petersen, executive director Kentucky Waterways Alliance.
