DJ Kim Sorise presents Cinematic Sleaze at 8UP! DJ Kim Sorise blends a variety of musical genres to create a unique experience for the listening and dancing audience. Relying on a base of soulful and groove-laden beats, Sorise mixes cinematic sounds with an international flair leaving listeners expecting the unexpected. She is the host of Global Grease on 97.1 FM WXOX - ART-FM and is one half of Louisville's vintage soul night The Derby City Soul Club. She serves as team DeeJay for the Derby City Roller Girls and has been nominated for Best Live DJ at the 2013 & 2014 Louisville Music Awards.

 

Drop in art making each Saturday from 12-3pm. A different activity each week. Included with Museum Admission.

Yoga East is delighted to offer this encore presentation of this deep relaxing workshop.  Patricia Everitt is a Sound Healing Ceremonialist, Reiki Master, CMT and teacher of Peruvian cosmology with over 20 years in the healing arts field. She uses sounds to lead participants in a mystical, healing, sacred journey. Patricia incorporates a variety of instruments including Paiste planetary gongs - 38" Sun, 32" Platonic Year, & 24" Venus, Milky Way sound tubes, Tibetan bowls, Black Hole sound tubes, Peruvian whistling water vessel, tingshas, bells, drums, rattles, Reverie Harp, wind wand, rainsticks, whistles, horn, shakapa and voice. Dress comfortably and warmly. Bring a pillow and two comfortable quilts, blankets or comforters to lie upon and for covering.  Be prepared for a long period of relaxation.  A Q&A session follows.
