    BRINGS TOTAL TO 104,683 SQ. FT. OF SPACE TO BE OCCUPIED BY END OF 2005

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. (July 15, 2004) ­ Waterfront Plaza will welcome Humana Inc. as its latest tenant by the /files/storyimages/of 2005, as the largest office property in Kentucky continues to build momentum and add tenants to its recently opened east tower located on the riverfront in downtown Louisville.

    Humana has leased and will occupy three floors in Waterfront Plaza, for a total of 40,500 sq ft. The lease follows the 2004 announcement of the lease of 59,800 sq ft of space by the Veterans Benefits Administration to be occupied by year-/files/storyimages/and the most recent addition of the Reed Wicker PLLC law firm on the 21st floor.

    The addition of Humana brings the total amount of newly leased and occupied space at Waterfront Plaza to 104,683 sq ft in the recently opened east tower.

    Both Humana and the Veterans Benefits Administration will occupy their space at the Waterfront Plaza office building at Fourth and Main Streets in downtown Louisville near the /files/storyimages/of 2005.

    "We are pleased to welcome Humana to Waterfront Plaza in downtown Louisville, and sincerely appreciate the company's seal of approval for our east tower," said Sam Moseley, corporate leasing director at the Al J. Schneider Company.

    "We opened the east tower just three months ago, and with the addition of Humana, the Veterans Benefits Administration and the Reed Wicker law firm, we are now well on our way toward filling this prime downtown office and retail space," he added. "The east tower of Waterfront Plaza now offers approximately 150,000 sq ft of the very best space available downtown­ upper-tower office space, with unrivaled river and city views."

    The Humana lease includes the opportunity for additional space on an as-needed basis, Moseley added.

    "We are excited to announce this expansion of our downtown office space into Waterfront Plaza," said Chuck Lambert, Humana vice president of associate and business services, who oversees all of Humana's owned and leased facilities. "We anticipate that more than 300 Humana associates, primarily in Service, Sales Support, and Information Technology positions, will work in this space as part of our recently announced plan to create approximately 1,100 new positions in Louisville."

    David Y. Wood and D. Yandell Wood of Harry K. Moore Co. Colliers negotiated the lease on behalf of Humana.

    Joe Helm and Bill Saffran of The Helm Company, commercial real estate consultants, negotiated the lease on behalf of the Schneider Company.

    A number of recent developments have enhanced the attractiveness of Waterfront Plaza. Main Street Crossing, a 15,000-sq ft retail mall on the first floor of the complex, is near completion. Extensive interior and exterior improvements are now complete, and amenities for the benefit of the property?s tenants include access to Club 360°, a rooftop fitness center overlooking the Ohio River.

    Waterfront Plaza, built in 1991, consists of two 25-floor office towers on each end, and a third 16-floor office tower in the center. All towers rise from the building?s fourth floor.
