Earlier in the year My Morning Jacket recorded an episode for Vh1‘s Storytellers live music series, and that episode is finally set to air tonight at 11 pm on Vh1.

The last time a Louisville musician appeared on this series was in 2001 when Travis Meeks from Days Of The New performed along with the surviving members of The Doors.

As for the forthcoming MMJ edition, some of the songs that will be featured are "Gideon," "Dondante," “Golden” and "Wonderful (The Way I Feel)" from their new album Circuital.

Check your local listings for channel information, but for all Louisville-area Insight customers Vh1 is on channel 47.

    About Jason Ashcraft

Jason is a life-long Louisville native who grew up in the Highlands, and now resides in an undisclosed fortified location somewhere in Louisville. He's followed Louisville's rock music scene for almost 10 years, first as a concert promoter, then an artist manager, and now a music critic and reviewer. He's one crazy Jarhead who'll literally publish anything his mind conceives on impulse, so don't always expect him to follow the traditional laws of journalism. He has intent of reviving Hunter S. Thompson's “gonzo journalism” if only his editors will allow it...which they don't usually.
