    VEGAS in the ‘VILLE (License #ORG0001884) is a not-to-be-missed event that will change the way you experience Whitehall House & Gardens!  Featuring Las Vegas-style games, chips, tables and entertainment, a Texas Hold ‘Em tournament featuring REAL PRIZE MONEY, Elvis impersonators, Vegas showgirls, live jazz and the latest exotic cars on display from Bluegrass Motorsports, this fund-raising event will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. at Whitehall, 3110 Lexington Road. 


    Registration for Texas Hold ‘Em will begin at 5:00 p.m., and the tournament will run from 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.  Cost per person for Texas Hold ‘Em is $125 and includes $100 buy-in, 2 drinks tickets and a delectable buffet of heavy hors d’oeuvres.  A total of $17,000 in real prize money will be offered, including First Place winnings of $8,000.  These payouts are based on 200 registrants.

    Proceeds from VEGAS in the ‘VILLE benefit Whitehall House & Gardens, a historic house owned and operated by the not-for-profit Historic Homes Foundation.  The mission of Whitehall is to preserve, educate and present the house as a Victorian interpretation of a southern plantation and to maintain and develop the grounds and gardens as a green space for future generations.
