URBAN LEAGUE RECEIVES DONATION OF NEARLY 40 COMPUTERS
University of Phoenix, Louisville Assists Community despite Tough Economy
WHAT: As Louisville industries are cutting back and unemployment rates in Kentucky are hitting 20-year highs, the University of Phoenix Louisville and the Louisville Urban League are working together to help underprivileged members of the community achieve economic self-reliance and success in the workplace.
The University of Phoenix Louisville is donating 37 refurbished computers to the Louisville Urban League, at a contribution ceremony.
As partners in the community, both striving to enable African Americans and other minority groups achieve success, the donation from the University of Phoenix Louisville to the Urban League is yet another step in assisting disadvantaged Louisville residents.
