If you know anything about the rock genre of music, you know Chevelle. However, if you live under a rock and think I am talking the 1960s Chevrolet, let me introduce you to Chevelle.
The band is made up of three members, all related and exceptionally talented. Pete Loeffler is the lead vocalist and plays guitar. His brother Sam plays the drums. Their brother-in-law Dean Bernardini plays bass and sings backing vocals live. Their albums have reached the top of the charts. Fans of Taproot, Breaking Benjamin, and Tool will love Chevelle.
Chevelle is currently on tour, celebrating the release of their seventh album, La Gargola. This album features heavier guitar and darker lyrics. La Gargola proves that Chevelle has continued to advance their style even after 19 years. This album is definitely for fans of Wonder What's Next and Vena Sera.
Chevelle will be playing at The Louisville Palace on August 13, 2014. The show begins at 7:30 pm. Dayshell will be the opening act. Tickets can be purchased here. See you there!
