Tickets for the University of Louisville men’s basketball team’s two public Red-White intrasquad scrimmages in October will go on sale Friday morning.
The scrimmages will be held on back-to-back Sundays in October (the 19th and 26th) at the KFC Yum! Center.
Tickets, which will be $10 for lower arena side and corner seats and $5 for end zone and upper arena seats, are slated to go on sale at 10 a.m. at the UofL Ticket Office, which is located near Gate 2 of Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.
Cardinals fans can also purchase tickets through Ticketmaster by visiting its website, www.Ticketmaster.com or any Ticketmaster Ticket Center, including statewide Kroger locations, or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
A limited number of tickets will also be available to UofL students at no charge. Student tickets, no more than two for each scrimmage, can be obtained with a valid student ID in advance beginning at 10 a.m. Friday at the UofL ticket office as well.
The Oct. 19 scrimmage will be held in conjunction with UofL’s “Year of the Cardinal” Homecoming on Main festivities.
The 2014-15 season should be another special one for the Cards. Coach Rick Pitino’s 14th season at UofL will be its first in the Atlantic Coast Conference. With the return of two starters - including Player of the Year candidate Montrezl Harrell - and eight letterman from last season’s 31-6 squad, the Cards should be up for the challenge.
