    One
of the most popular yearly events at the Expo Center, the 59th Home Show promises all of the latest trends, makeovers and advances in home and garden care.  With demonstrations including wall decorating, updating your house for energy efficiency and cooking mastery, home enthusiasts will walk away inspired and knowledgeable about your next project!  The Official Show of Spring will feature 500 booths, education seminars and many new and exciting features and areas designed to point you in the right direction to remodel, build, redecorate or landscape.

In addition, this year’s show features an opportunity to hear Elite Homes and the Patrick Hughes Family talk about their experience with ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.  The Pusateri’s (of Elite Homes) along with the Hughes family will present a behind the scenes look at the entire Extreme Makeover process at the show on Friday March 7 at 6pm in South Wing A of the Kentucky Expo Center.  The journey of building the Hughes’ home in a week with the help of 3000 volunteers from the Louisville area was viewed by an estimated 20 million people across the country and involved some of the most advanced features in homebuilding today.

Visitors can expect to see the latest appliances, bathroom remodeling, cabinetry, decks & sunrooms, home theaters and hot tubs and anything else related to home improvement and redmodling.  Talk with architects and engineers, landscape experts and other professionals to discuss your ideas and questions for your home remodeling job.  You can also watch and learn as Dogwood Homes builds their energy-efficient, 2415 square foot home in just 4 days!

The hours are Friday and Saturday from 10am – 10 pm and Sunday from 10 am – 5 pm.  Adult tickets are $10 at the door, seniors are $9, and kids 15 and under are free.  You can also buy your tickets in advance at local Kroger stores for the price of $8.
