Who wouldn't want to travel for a living and write about it? Sounds exotic, doesn't it?
Louisville-based writer Zach Everson (http://zacheverson.com) works for louisville.com but also makes about half of his living writing about travel. Within the past year, he's been to China and Israel, writing for national magazines and web sites and even penning the occasional article about visiting Louisville. If you'd like to learn more about becoming a freelance travel writer, this is your chance.
Society of Professional Journalists, Louisville Pro Chapter, is sponsoring his presentation, and as part of that, we'll include a box lunch from City Cafe. You can choose your lunch when you register.
TO ATTEND, YOU NEED TO PAY ONLINE THROUGH http://travelwriting.eventbrite.com/. This protects us from costly no-shows.
Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and Zach's presentation will begin promptly at 12 p.m., and should end around 1 p.m., including time for questions.
Questions? Contact SPJ Louisville President Robyn Davis Sekula at robynsekula@sbcglobal.net or call her at (502) 608-6125.
Registration deadline is FRIDAY, MARCH 19 at 12 p.m.
