    The rich legacy of the most popular artistic and musical phenomenon, the Beatles, is now shared by four generations of fans. It is celebrated annually on Memorial Day Week/files/storyimages/in Louisville, Kentucky. Abbey Road on the River 2007 will last five days and will bring more than fifty bands together to perform on indoor and outdoor stages. It is the biggest event of its kind in the United States.

    Botanica, Inc., presents the 6th Annual Fleur de Lis Festival celebrating Louisville’s rich horticultural heritage; new French Marketplace theme features plants, flowers, expert advice as well as garden related arts and crafts; music, entertainment, food and fun for everyone including children’s activities!; attracts thousands to the Waterfront. Louisville’s Horticultural Connection, representing a network of nearly 70 member and user groups providing gardening, arranging, agricultural extension, education and visitation services throughout the region.

    Sponsored by Fifth Third Bank and 9th District Councilwoman, Tina Ward-Pugh.

    Botanica continues to pursue its vision of building a Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Louisville. A Feasibility and Economic Impact Study was completed in June, 2005. The site selection process is underway.

    A model of the planned gardens and center is available for viewing at the Botanica Booth.

    Botanica provides an information and education network for garden clubs and societies, horticultural organizations, county extension agents, arboretums, parks and public gardens.
