It's that time of year again when there's a chill in the air you just can't seem to escape.  Not to worry- these cocktail recipes will warm you right up.  Cheers!

    1. The Toasty Toboggan from Four Roses is warm and buttery, like comfort food in a cup!

    2. The Darjeeling Express from Willett is spicy and has a little caffeine kick to keep you going.

    3. The Hot Buttered Bourbon and Loretto Lava from Bourbonblog.com are just two of the Polar Vortex cocktails mixologists came up with to fight off the cold.

    4. The Oakroom's Hot Chocolate recipe is a Louisville tradition, and who are you to question tradtion?

    5. The Yazu Toddy from Maker's Mark features Laird's Applejack Brandy in addition to bourbon for an apple pie-ish spin.

    6. The Bourbon Butterscotch Latte from Endless Simmer might just be my new favorite coffee drink!  I'm sure work won't mind.

    7. This Warm Spiced Vanilla Cocktail from Kitchen Treaty sounds delightful.

    8. Maple Bourbon Apple Cider from the Self Proclaimed Foodie sounds like a nice spin on a boozy hot cider.  Throw it in the crock pot on warm for your next party!

    9. This traditional bourbon toddie is a great way to treat a grownup cough.  It really works!

    10. Wassail Punch from Kitchen Treaty sounds like a great crock pot recipe for your next gathering.

There's no end to recipes that get better with bourbon.  Do you have a favorite warm bourbon cocktail?  Tweet me @LouGirl502 and tell me all about it!
