On Tuesday, Nov. 16, Sullivan University students will standup to a recipe showdown at the Dumante Recipe Challenge held at Winton’s Restaurant. From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., contestants will be competing in either the best Dumante infused entrée or dessert categories with top category winners receiving a $1,000 scholarship prize. The esteemed judging panel will include chef and food professions who will also select four entrée finalist and two dessert finalists who will each receive $200. Guests at the event can create an elegant meal by sampling all the competing dishes. To pair with the dishes, Dumante cocktails will be prepared by a guest mixologist. The price to attend this exciting evening of competition, cuisine and cocktails is $30 per person.
