Kentucky Crafted: The Market, the annual award-winning arts marketplace returns to Kentucky Exposition Center, South Wing B, Louisville, Ky., and is open to the public March 19 – 20.
The Kentucky Arts Council will present Successful Business Practices, a day of workshops for professional and emerging artists from 9 a.m. – 2:15 p.m., Sat. March 19, 2011, in conjunction with The Market.

Finding your audience
Pricing in today’s economy
Digital downloads: Making music products for the MP3 era
The registration fee of $10 includes any or all of the workshops and free admission to Kentucky Crafted: The Market. For a complete schedule, descriptions of the workshops and to register at this website.
Kentucky Crafted: The Market offers buyers from galleries, shops and online retail venues across the nation the opportunity to select products from more than 200 exhibitors of fine art and craft, books, CDs, DVDs and specialty foods. The Market is open exclusively to the trade with proper identification on March 17 and 18.
On March 19 and 20, the marketplace opens to the public. In addition to shopping for fine art and craft, visitors can enjoy musical performances, sample regional food products, meet Kentucky authors and explore Kentucky traditions through special exhibits.
Kentucky Crafted: The Market is produced by the Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency that creates opportunities for Kentuckians to value, participate in and benefit from the arts. Kentucky Arts Council funding is provided by the Kentucky General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts.
