Daylight savings time ends Sunday, Oct. 31, and that means it will be darker in the evening.  TARC is offering Night Lights for TARC riders and students who may be out in the evening darkness waiting for a bus. The light can be used to signal a bus or can be worn around the neck to ensure visibility. It is effective for bus riders and also for joggers and walkers who are out in the dark. It’s a simple but effective safety device that children will love to use.

The light stick comes in red or white and costs $3. The stick is lightweight and completely disposable, with a built-in battery that lasts about 30 hours. The Night Light makes a perfect stocking stuffer for the TARC rider in your life.

To purchase a Night Light, visit the customer service booth at Union Station, 1000 W. Broadway, or the Nia Center sales counter, 2900 W. Broadway.
