    Whether you’re a full-blooded Irish, or just enjoy being an Irish for one day a year, the city of Louisville has plenty going on to make your St. Patrick’s Day a memorable one!  With celebratory parades, parties, and Irish Awards ceremonies going on in the days prior to the 17th, everyone can find time to wear a little green and be a little Irish!


     


    Friday, March 7th, 7:30 PM: Wearin’ o’ the Green Party featuring the Tim Krekel Orchestra with the Knights of St Patrick induction ceremony and silent auction.

    Baxter Avenue/Bardstown Road from Broadway to Mid City Mall.  There will be a “Hooley” or celebration immediately after the parade at O Shea’s Irish Pub with awards for the 2008 Irish Person of the Year, Tom O Shea co-owner of O Shea’s, along with the 2008 Matt Talbot award to Pat Day.
