Celebrate Father's Day at the Louisville Zoo June 16 and 17 from noon to 4 p.m. as Becker Law Office presents Father's Day Safety Safari Week/files/storyimages/featuring Spider-Man.
Kids and families can learn about safety at various stations throughout the Zoo, like train safety from Operation Lifesaver and spine safety from The Spine Center Chiropractic. A Louisville Metro EMS ambulance and fire truck will also be there, as well as the American Red Cross and YMCA. Families can also stop by the Lowe's Building Station to learn the safe way to build a craft they can take home. Other exhibits include Louisville Metro Government's Bike Louisville Initiative, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet's Bicycle and Pedestrian Program: Bicycle Safety and LifePreserver Educational Services, Inc.
Visitors can pick up a "passport" at the Becker Law Office booth and then collect stamps at the various stations throughout the Zoo. Once six stamps are collected, the card can be redeemed at the Zoo exit for a prize.
Spider-Man will teach kids about safety at 12 and 2:30 p.m. during his performance at the Oasis stage. After each show, Spider-Man will be available for a meet-and-greet, so bring your camera.
Ronald McDonald will also make a special appearance Sunday June 17 on the MetaZoo stage at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.
