A special opening night, Meet the Artist reception is planned for Friday. This pre-derby celebration is free to the public, and will feature wine and cheese, plus mini hot browns and mini derby pies.
A Louisville native, David Schuster received a solid foundation in visual art at Trinity High School followed by his studies at the University of Virginia. He has since become an accomplished painter, working in several genres including: portraiture, figurative, landscape, animal and mixed media. David has murals and paintings in both private and corporate collections across the country. In 2003 he began offering private classes in drawing and painting.
