Bring a brown bag lunch; drinks are provided. Pre-registation is required (812-944-7336). Valerie Sullivan Fuchs will show excerpts from and talk about her multimedia artworks. She will discuss how she uses video and sound in her works and why she works in those media as opposed to more traditional art forms. Her layered multimedia works address themes of memory, identity and relationships. Fuchs holds a Master of Fine Arts in Time Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Prior to working as a visual artist, she was an architectural designer and has a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Kentucky. She lives and works in Shelbyville, Kentucky.
