Rooibos (roy-boss) tea, also known as red tea, bush tea and redbush tea, is one of the hottest trends in the tea industry. Rooibos tea contains powerful antioxidant properties 50 times more potent than those of green tea. It is effective in the treatment of insomnia, nervous tension, mild depression, stomach cramps (including colic), constipation and some allergic symptoms. Some believe it even has anti-aging effects.
