    Whether you're looking for a relaxing day with some food and drinks, or just a lazy cruise along the riverfront, we've highlighted some destinations and done some homework to help fill your day.  It's now up to you to get down to the river and see the great views and have a great time!


    Joe’s Crab Shack: You’ve heard of it before and you know what they’re all about at Joe’s.  See fantastic views of the river from this beach-themed restaurant and grab a beer and some crabs!

     The Belle of Louisville: The Belle of Louisville, a treasured National Historic Landmark, is the oldest operating steamboat in the nation. The Belle maintains a regular cruise schedule Memorial Day Week/files/storyimages/to Labor Day Weekend, and offers special events, private charters & wedding facilities through out the year.

     Tumbleweed: A Kentucky Original, as the name says: It’s Big and It’s Bold.  Find a southwest style, right along the water.  Opened in 2005, this waterfront location is perfect for hungry folks or folks just looking for a great view!

     Captain’s Quarters: A little further north of downtown up the road, you’ll find Captain’s Quarters. It’s a picturesque setting overlooking the Ohio River at the mouth of Harrods Creek.  First established in the early 1800's, it has grown from a small tavern, to a 550-seat dining and entertainment venue. Voted multiple times as a "Best Of Louisville" restaurant for outdoor dining.  See boats travel by as you enjoy the surroundings.

    Kingfish: Located next to the water tower near Zorn Ave. and River Road, this Kingfish location is perfect for those looking for a good seafood meal and a great water view.
